Bioinformatics resources to analyze HiFi cancer genomes

PacBio HiFi sequencing enables more complete and accurate characterization of cancer genomes than ever before. However, going from sequences to variant calls requires tools specifically developed to take advantage of the characteristics of HiFi data. This includes tools for calling somatic single-nucleotide variants, indels, CNVs, structural variants, methylation, and mutational signatures.

In this webinar, we will present bioinformatic solutions for calling these variant types, as well as integrating them into a single, easy-to-use pipeline.

This annual international high-level scientific conference on genetics and genomics, taking place on 24-25 September in Estonia, is a major event in the Baltics, which provides an excellent opportunity to establish and renew contacts in the region. Long-Read Sequencing Meeting Uppsala (LRUA24)

The Long-Read Sequencing Meeting Uppsala, LRUA24, is an international scientific meeting arranged every other year and will take place 21-23 October.

LRUA24 is a three-day event in the main Uppsala university building. The first two days will consist of scientific talks by invited and abstract selected speakers. Day three will consist of workshops on topics such as clinical sequencing, biodiversity and bioinformatics.
