Natalie Welch
Chief People Officer
Natalie Welch joined PacBio in 2008 and serves as Chief People Officer. Natalie is responsible for leading PacBio’s overall human resources strategy, global talent management, organizational design, culture and community development, in support of PacBio’s business goals and strategy, as well as the changing dynamics for employees working across the globe.
Natalie is a people-focused, results-driven executive with multiple decades of experience in diverse industries and geographies.
Prior to her long-tenure at PacBio, Natalie was responsible for people relations, talent planning, and learning and development initiatives at a large hospitality company.
At PacBio, Natalie has served in various roles of increasing responsibility in Human Resources and Organizational Development, building strong relationships to become a trusted partner with leadership, board teams and employees across the company.
Natalie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and conducted post-graduate work in Counseling Psychology from The College of New Jersey.
Natalie was recognized as “Top 25 Women Leaders in Biotechnology” by the Healthcare Technology Report in 2023.
